i'm in serious pain
(though i'm not even hurt)
on account of the soy sauce
i spilled down my skirt

it scorched & it stained me
it swallowed me whole
and turned me into a
giant california roll.

and of course there's hours
left in this endless day,
so i'll have to work smelling
like sushi combination A.
