phoning it in.

hours and hours of conference calling
nothing could be more appalling-
awkward, static-fused discussion
leaves me with a mild concussion,
or maybe just a sense of numb-ness
at our tele-phonic dumbness.

Hi Madeleine, I'm here via moistworks. I like the poem. I dropped and spoiled my crummy cell phone a week or so ago, and strangely (or not so strangely), I'm not missing it all. Although, true, I'll probably be scoring a new one soon enough. Nice photo.
